    Editorial Policy

    Editorial principles

Credibility is the only thing a publication really owns. These are the rules we hold ourselves to.

    1. 01

      Discovery

Global58 discovers companies through research, recommendations and nominations, looking for businesses with something worth understanding.

    2. 02

      Corrections

Factual corrections should identify the article, the passage concerned and supporting evidence. The verified corrections channel will be listed on our Contact page before public launch.

    3. 03

      Independent selection

Global58 independently selects companies for editorial coverage.

    4. 04

      Nominations are welcome

Companies can nominate themselves, and anyone can nominate a company.

    5. 05

      Nomination is not selection

Nomination does not guarantee selection or coverage of any kind.

    6. 06

      Payment is not recognition

No fee buys an editorial feature or the right to use the mark. Editorial decisions cannot be bought.

    7. 08

      Sources

Global58 may use publicly available information and information supplied by companies when producing stories.

    8. 09

      Verification

Before publication, features require checked factual information, supporting primary sources and authentic imagery. Reporting distinguishes verified facts from company statements, and identifies uncertainties and limitations.

    9. 10

      The mark

“Featured by Global58” indicates editorial selection only. It is not an award, certification, accreditation or endorsement. Only companies with a verified, approved, published feature may use it. Link the mark to the original Global58 feature; preserve its wording, proportions and year. Do not imply a ranking or use it on unrelated products. Prototype marks confer no usage rights.

    10. 11

      Substance over publicity

A real product, a meaningful problem and work worth understanding. A pitch or press release alone is not a story.

    11. 12

      Evidence before claims

Published features must be supported by primary sources, checked facts and authentic imagery. Unsubstantiated claims are not presented as findings.

    12. 13

      Independent judgment

No fee buys an editorial feature or the right to use the mark. Nominations are leads, not a promise of coverage.

    13. 14

      Significance, not rankings

We look for a distinctive contribution, with context and limitations. Selection is an editorial decision, not a league table or endorsement.
